Today

I feel like all my posts start with the word "ouch" or "OMG, I'm dying".

But guess what? I am dying from the ouch. Yesterday we did a BUNCH of dead lifts and lower back stuff. Y'all know my lower back is the most effed up part of my effed up body. I honestly shouldn't have done them all, b/c I don't want my back muscles any tighter. I want my abs stronger to balance (and to show off my banging 6 pack.) Now I can barely walk b/c even stabilizing my body hurts. I can't bend at the waist.

In good news, that is the only part of me that is sore so I guess my arms are getting used to non-stop pushups and legs are ok with jumping lunges. Victory is mine!

Owee! I hope you're feeling ok this morning. If you have a weak lower back then it can actually be good to do these exercises, but only with gentle progression and careful supervision!

Congrats on the lunges and pushups though -- woot!

haha, I love to be sore! But of course, when you are sore from a chronic pain-like condition, that's not fun, I'm sure. Listen to your body!! Your abs will stay ripped even if you go one day without working them :)

So, I just scrolled down to your previous post about your favorite thing, and that Oprah video is HILAARRRRRIOUS!

OMG I did deadlifts yesterday along with a whole bunch of other ridiculous exercises. I feel your pain! I hoping to jump on the pushup bandwagon soon because I suck big time.

An occasional teacher is the same thing as a substitute/supply teacher! The board calls it occasional here...haha. Generally out of Teacher's College (in Canada at least), most people have to substitute before they get hired permanently! Unless you're lucky :)
